This is a fabulous vintage
nylon satin bra called the Delineator by J. Berle, Made in France.
The underwire is covered with soft velvet "fur" for
comfort, the straps are not adjustable and measure 14".
The bras band size is adjustable from 36" to 40" The
cup size measures C The straps could be shortened easily and
lengthened by adding elastic. The top of the bra is trimmed with
tiny exquisite lace, the color is a luscious gleaming peach satin.
The size listed is 5 cs, with the Italian size conversion to
US size 40B the condition of this marvelous bra is new never
worn vintage however there is a pinhead size storage spot that
you would be hard pressed to see without a magnifying glass.
I do believe this teeny spot will come out. Each cup is shaped
with a dart at the bottom giving the bosom shape. The method
of fastening in the back is unique with lots of flexibility in
underbust sizing. There are two loops of elastic, one on each
side coming from each end of the bra. Each elastic loop has a
fastener hook at the end, there are 3 eyes on each side to secure
the hooks. A truly lovely vintage treasure, a treat for the eyes
and the body.
