What a fabulous find,
this satin robe is new never worn vintage and very Hollywood
romantic style. The magenta satin gleams softly and is complemented
by the jade green satin piping. The entire dressing gown is lined
with smooth nylon/acetate in the same fantastic jade green as
the piping. This striking color combination adds to the glamour
and pizazz so popular in boudoir attire of the 1940s/1950's.
The quality and workmanship are superb, the size is medium fitting
bust sizes 32, 34, and 36, the waist can go to 32". There
is an attached belt, the gently flaring hem has an 82" sweep,
measured from the shoulder the length of this robe is 56".
This is the kind of dressing gown you will see if you are a lover
of vintage films, a boudoir masterpiece.
