This new never worn vintage
Lorraine formal length half slip is designed with comfort and
proper fit in mind. The fabric is white 100% nylon of a non-stretch
type that also has a tiny little rustle as you move. At each
side extending into the hip area there is a panel of stretchy
nylon tricot so you will have perfect fit. The size is large
with the elastic waist stretching 23/32,", the hips 37/40"
and the length is a very formal 42". The hem has 4 rows
of tiny lace interspersed with nylon, this is similar to the
type slip where you can snip off a row and thereby shorten the
slip. I believe that may be the case with this slip but I am
not positive but if you need it shorter take a close look. A
beautifully designed elegant formal half slip.
