This new never worn piece
of vintage lingerie is unique, it's a bra and panty all in one
or onesie, the size best fits 32 (incorrectly labeled 34) with
a side length of 21". The set-in midriff will accomodate
26 to 29", the left underarm side has a 7" placket
with 3 hook and eyes, the lower half of the bra cups are lined
with cotton, the cup size appears to be an A or B, the grosgrain
ribbon straps do not adjust and measure 16 1/2". The label
reads Sil-O-Ette 100% Nylon Exclusive of Decoration Size 34 Guaranteed
Non-Run. The wide legs measure 31", there are no buttons
or snaps at the single layer crotch. This fascinating garment
appears to be a later 1950's version of the pink Sil-O-Ette #4232
also found on this page. The earlier garment has a patent number
and is rayon while this one is nylon. Owning both pieces would
be a fabulous addition to a vintage lingerie collection, I'd
love to see them together and will make a reduced combination
price. This delightful onsie is new never worn and has been freshly
laundered.
