This gorgeous 1950's
Vanity Fair slip is called a suit slip to provide coverage under
the sheer blouse usually worn with a suit which traditionally
would be of a dark color. The bodice is trimmed in a V shape
with a panel of pleats between the lace, the under bust is part
of the set-in midriff and has two upward V's while the lower
portion has a V pointing into the waist matched by a rear waist
V. The shoulder straps are non-adjustable lace, their length
is 14" and can easily be shortened by taking a little tuck
but cannot be lengthened. The midriff will accomodate up to a
28" waist, the slip size is 34 with a side length of 36
1/2". The condition is excellent, the pin up quotient is
astronomical, oh yes, the nylon is silky slippery and feels fabulous.
