An elegant full slip
by Barbizon labeled Encore Nylon 16 1/2 Little Lady, the size
will fit a 36 bust, the side length is 36 12". The Little
Lady label is rarely found and is extremely collectible. The
bodice is adorned with sheer nylon net embroidered with tiny
satin stitch circles surrounded by scallop stitching. The slip
front is cut from one piece with shaped midriff panels which
allow for under bust gathers and a shapely fit, the seams are
pinked. This smooth slick fabric has very little give, the waist
is the only area of fit concern and that will fit easily to 33".
The back bodice is straight, the trim continues from the front,
the straps are narrow adjustable self fabric, the color is a
glowing peachy pink. This lovely slip is in excellent condition
and is a wonderful find for Barbizon collectors, especially if
you love the 1940's early 1950's New Look era.
