Exquisite 1940's tap
panties, Art Deco design with a set-in yoke and pleats on each
side front, very much like the slacks of the day. The back has
encased elastic, waist stretches from 28 to 32, will go more
but the pleats would not lay flat, hips to 37", side length
is 15". The legs are trimmed with gorgeous lace, the left
side has cut-out lace applique and delicate embroidery. I believe
the fabric is silk but I suppose it could be an extremely high
quality rayon, these panties are a marvelous find.
