Very vintage very special
Vanity Fair half slip in slippery silky black nylon, this gorgeous
piece of lingerie fluff dates to at least the 1950's and possibly
the 1940's. Everything about it is perfect except the elastic
waistband which isn't as stretchy as it was when new and has
faded to a pinky color which matches the hem. The tag is one
of the older blue and white embroidered type, says size 4 but
I would call the size Small. The waist stretches from 24 to 28",
hips 36 to 38", side length is 30". The hem is devine
with a small frilly inner ruffle of peachy pink chiffon and an
outer ruffle of exquisite lace with an intricate design of ribbons
and roses.
If you are a Vanity Fair collector you will want this slip and
if you just love gorgeous lingerie you will want this slip.
