The waist stretches from 10 1/2 to 15 for a waist size of 21 to 30", hips stretch from 17 to 21 for a hip size of 34 to 42", the legs are banded and do not have elastic making these a very comfortable brief style. The legs are 10 1/2 to 13" for a circumference of 21 to 26" best fitting a leg 24 to 25", this was a very popular art deco design in the late 1940's and early 1950's. The label is somewhat of a mystery reading Realsilk means Quality and then there is another portion of the label that has been cut out. I think this is possibly a very old Vanity Fair label but cannot be sure. Even though the label contains the word silk, these panties are not silk and are most likely nylon. The condition is very good for 50+ yr old lingerie, they look and feel marvelous with no flaws, the double nylon crotch is nice and wide. A fabulous piece of lingerie history you will enjoy wearing. |
