For pure vintage luxury there is nothing
more elegant than silk tap panties, these are exceptionally fine
with all seams enclosed and finished with hand stitching. Each
leg is a masterpiece of hand embroidery, exquisite trapunto and
delicate open design accented by tiny embroidered scallops around
the legs. There is no label saying silk Made In China, however
the quality and feel are unmistakeable. The 27" waist fastens
on the left side with two teeny mother of pearl buttons, the
hips 40 to 42" and side length is 15". Condition is
new never worn with a reddish storage mark right front and a
teeny dot upper back The V shaped yoke front and back gives the
legs that pin-up girl flare. The silk is some of the sheerest
I've ever seen, elegantly designed and exquisitely trimmed these
tap panties are a fabulous example of the 1940 art deco era.
