This bra is an engineering
marvel, made of rayon & cotton, the fabric is wonderfully
firm but soft and smooth, the elastic under the center midriff
and at the back 2 hook 2 position fastener is also firm and satiny,
the lower cups have a satin finish. The original hang tag with
washing instructions also has drawings showing you how to properly
put on and position yourself in the bra, in addition there is
a foil label around the strap stating this is a Pulchra Design.
Just the graphics and wording on the tag make this collectible
but it is also a wonderful bra. It will perfectly fit the stated
size of 38C but will not fit 40C (I tried), the straps are a
wonderfully thick double sided satin with metal adjustors, the
color is peach with a hint of pink. I have never seen a 1940's
Flexaire Bra before and may never again, especially in brand
new condition with all the original labels and tags, a collectors
find.
