This gorgeous 1960's
trousseau peignoir set is from Gotham Gold Stripe, a premier
maker from the golden era of lingerie. The peignoir is size Medium,
the gown is size 36, the condition is excellent, as is typical
of aging the sleeve elastic has lost it's spring but does not
affect beauty or wearability. The prom style gown has triple
satin straps, the bodice and hem are bound with white satin.
The set-in midriff fits 26/28 and is adorned with a wide sheer
panel of exquisite embroidery, the peignoir also has embroidered
sheer trim. The gown and peignoir have a full floaty nylon chiffon
overlay. The quality of design and workmanship are superb, this
is a vintage lingerie treasure for the most discriminating lingerie
lover.
