Beautiful 1950's black
fabric purse, I believe it to be faille, the lining is black
satin with one interior pocket lined in gold satin. The interior
has a zipper compartment as well as two other pockets, one contains
a mirror and clear plastic comb and the other a black satin coin
purse all likely original to the purse. The measurements are
approximately 9" x 9 1/2" not including the fabric
handle, closure is with a metal snap clasp. The front of the
bag has a flap decorated with jet black faceted stones, the condition
is very good on this great vintage bag. This is the type referred
to as a "pocketbook" and "saved for good",
to carry to church or attend a dressup affair.
